Default Yeehaw! (Translation: New, FREE software)

Well, I've had it up to my eyeballs with spam mail. I dunno how they get my address, but they always do, and they ALWAYS manage to slip past my spam filters. Well, no more. Thanks to the great people at Mozilla, makers of Firefox, I can now pay my attention to my mail instead of people claiming to make me bigger in just 3 weeks, naturally.

It's called Thunderbird. It works just like Outlook, but it's free and far better. It's got an AI - with just a minute's worth of trianing, it'll pick up on all junk mail and toss it in a junk bin with remarkable accuricy. I HIGHLY recommend you all try this out, since it IS free AND effective.

Thunderbird - reclaim your inbox.

(NOTE! You have to activate the spam filter under "File." When you get spam, select it and hit the "Junk" button. After 3 actions like that, Thunderbird will catch on and you'll never have spam again.)

Been using Thunderbird for ages now, and it does support newsgroups.

The 'intelligent' spam filter doesn't work like advertised tho, sure, it blocks some, but there's still a huge load of stuff slipping past it, and it's been under training for a year now. But, it's still better than nothing. (And I do get huge loads of spam, grr.)
